Nearly two years since an unsuccessful UFC debut, Louis Cosce will return in a fight against Trevin Giles. They’re expected to square off at the promotion’s September 10th show, per Matthew Wells and Nolan King of MMA Junkie.
The location for UFC’s September 10th show isn’t known at the moment.
Cosce was unsuccessful in his first UFC appearance. Facing Sasha Palatinov in November 2020, Cosce suffered a third-round finish to end a hectic battle.
Cosce had an undefeated record of seven wins before then. He joined the UFC roster through the 2020 season of “Dana White’s Contender Series,” where he stopped Victor Reyna in 72 seconds with strikes.
Giles will be attempting to avoid falling into a three-fight losing streak. He lost to undefeated Michael Morales in January, getting stopped in the first round of a bout at UFC 270.
The sole other fight reported for UFC’s September 10th show is a featherweight bout between Danyelle Wolf and Norma Dumont.
