Harry Hunsucker will move down to light heavyweight for a fight against Tyson Pedro later this year. The matchup will take place at UFC’s August 20th pay-per-view event, per Nolan King and Farah Hannoun of MMA Junkie.
The fight is joining UFC 278, which will be held at the Vivint Arena in Salt Lake City, Utah, USA.
Hunsucker is moving down to the 205-pound limit after competing in UFC’s heavyweight division twice. He was unsuccessful through both appearances, getting finished within a round by both opponents that he faced.
Pedro made his return to competition in April, fighting for the first time in more than three years. He was successful in that showing, scoring a first-round finish victory over Ike Villanueva. Possibly making up for lost time, Pedro already has his second fight of the year booked.
UFC Welterweight Champion Kamaru Usman is scheduled to face Leon Edwards in the main event of UFC 278.
