The UFC debut of Jared Gooden is now being aimed for at UFC 255, as the promotion is attempting to pair him against Alan Jouban. News of the matchup was first reported by Farah Hannoun and Nolan King of MMA Junkie.
Gooden’s original UFC debut was scheduled for August against Dwight Grant, although Gooden pulled out due to injury.
Gooden will enter the promotion on a three-fight streak of wins. The most recent in the trio came against Trent McCown last July.
Should the fight be booked, Jouban will enter the UFC cage for the 13th time in his career. His last fight goes all the way back to April of 2019, where he lost a split decision to Dwight Grant.
