Both attempting to bounce back from a loss, bantamweights Khalid Taha and Sergey Morozov will meet at UFC’s July 17th event. The matchup was confirmed by MMA Junkie earlier in the week.
The pairing joins a slowly growing “Fight Night” card that does not have a location reported for it.
Morozov lost his UFC debut in January, getting submitted in the second round by Umar Nurmagomedov. Morozov was entering the promotion after a five-fight win streak in M-1 Championship which included title fights.
Taha’s recent loss came in November, dropping a scorecard fight to Raoni Barcelos. Despite the loss, Taha’s performance earned him a “Fight of the Night” bonus.
UFC’s July 17th card does not have a main event set for it currently. The other bout previously reported for the lineup was a bantamweight fight between the returning Miesha Tate and Marion Reneau.
