Bellator’s recent schedule of shows has received numerous changes as of late, including some fights that are set to play out later this week. This issue of the Bellator Roundup will cover all of the recent changes within the promotion.
Two Last-Minute Bouts Join Bellator 263
A pair of new matchups have recently joined the lineup for Bellator 263. They join a large card that the promotion is planning to hold at The Forum in Los Angeles, California, USA on Saturday.
Undefeated featherweight Khasan Magomedsharipov will make his Bellator debut on the card against Jonathan Quiroz. Magomedsharipov is getting the Bellator call-up after attaining five wins since turning pro in 2019.
Quiroz last appeared in Bellator two years back, where AJ Agazarm scored a unanimous decision win over him.
Justin Barry will get his pro debut on the prelims against Daniel Compton. Compton will be looking for his first Bellator win after nearly two years outside of the cage.
Six Bouts Join Bellator 264
Bellator’s August 13th card at the Mohegan Sun Arena in Uncasville, Connecticut, USA has received half-a-dozen new fights recently.
A high-level bantamweight fight between Magomed Magomedov and Raufeon Stots has been added to the lineup, per a report from Nolan King of MMA Junkie. The fight was originally set to happen in July but later had to be postponed.
After picking up a win outside of Bellator earlier this year, promotional vet Andrey Koreshkov will return to face former UFC fighter Sabah Homasi at welterweight.
Former Invicta FC Featherweight Champion Pam Sorenson will make her promotional debut against Roberta Samad, who is returning to Bellator nearly six years after her last appearance under their banner.
After three wins in Bellator, Davion Franklin will get his biggest test yet when facing fellow undefeated heavyweight Everett Cummings. Cummings enters Bellator after 15 consecutive wins on the regional scene.
Former UFC fighter Marcelo Golm will get his long-awaited Bellator debut in August when facing rising prospect Steve Mowry.
Justin Montalvo will get his Bellator debut in August after scoring his first two pro wins on the regional scene. He faces Kendly St. Louis, who will be fighting to break a two-fight losing streak that he developed in Titan FC.
