Returning for the first time since winning “The Ultimate Fighter” last year, Ricky Turcios will meet Aiemann Zahabi at UFC’s July 9th card. News of the pairing was confirmed by the promotion earlier this week.
The fight is set to take place at the UFC APEX in Las Vegas, Nevada, USA.
Turcios picked up three wins in 2021 to win “TUF.” His final victory in the tournament came in August 2021, when he went three rounds against Brady Hiestand for a split decision win.
Earlier in the season, Turcios defeated Liudvik Sholinian and Daniel Argueta.
Zahabi picked up a big win early last year, scoring a first-round finish against Drako Rodriguez. The victory snapped a two-fight skid for Zahabi and earned him his first victory since 2017.
